It seems like this is becoming a more common issue with new hentai. Ikusei episode 1 also had this problem, and that was released earlier this year. Sleepless: Nocturne episode 1 (late 2024) also had this issue. I hope more hentai don’t follow this trend. It’s not just Majin Label. Other hentai companies are also being affected by the sexless-hentai trend.
Tbh thats what a lot of hentai in the 90s and early 2000s did. Majin Label has historically done a shitton of “narrative” hentai if you look at their older shit. Pink Pineapple used to as well. Many of them are all based on h-games. Nobody says Bible Black and its peers back then didn’t have story heavy episodes. We’re just stuck in ipad brain where everything these days is designed to overload the senses.
While what you said is true, I’d also say that while older works did have long plots, they supplemented them by having tons of sex scenes. You’d be hard pressed to find an older hentai from a major studio that only had a single 30 second sex scene, that’s just unacceptable. Idgaf how much story a hentai has as long as it has just as much sex, or close to it. They knew that back in the day.
It was closer to 2 minutes, not 30 secs. Also, the set up and small scenes scattered throughout added to much more time than that. Obviously you never seen the plenty of story heavy series which was all story except for one short ero scene at the end of episode. And you who are a pirate who didnt even pay for the works dont have any right to be wishing them to get fucked or go bankrupt.
