WHY? Why people commit rape, Good you asked this.

I asked myself many times to find a suitable answer, but could not. Then I changed the question a bit and asked myself “Can i commit a rape?” will I really do it? If yes, then what will be on my mind that time?

Surprised? – yes I too was that what i am doing to myself. But later, I got the answer. It’s something like this: Every person has a group of inbuilt instincts of different kinds, which are also present one each in every animal. So we can say everyone has many different animal instincts residing inside him. Which instinct grows up fully and which ones are suppressed and left untouched forever are the deciding factor for the actual character of the person.This again depends upon his or her childhood background, surroundings he/she is growing up in, and lastly his family background and social impact.

Hence I feel if some persons develops an animal instinct towards sex to a high level and all other defending feelings are not working on him, even if given a free sex he will try to force it on his partner.

Some couples happily married also try to pretend rape among themselves, this is again a big question to me why? but they really do. Is this to satisfy their desire without letting out the animal inside, and doing no harm to anybody else or disturbing their social status. Though all are not that lucky to have such partners I guess.

So lastly, I can only say people with disturbed instincts commit rape.

I’m not sure how in the hell you don’t understand what instincts; but anyways, according to the dictionary, an instinct is an innate, typically fixed pattern of behavior in animals in response to certain stimuli. (a natural or intuitive way of acting or thinking.)

It’s sort of a innate feeling/response, without having to be learned. For example, a newly hatched sea turtle will automatically move to the sea. As with humans/animals, the basic instincts of getting laid, or die trying, is very apparent. After all, the basic goal of all organisms is to reproduce. Those that cannot obtain a relationship may enforce rape to fulfill that primal instinct of a “sex drive”.

Many variables surround this topic, but I hope this answers your question.

That’s why I stated that many variables surround this topic of “instincts”. In your case, of course your life will affect your instincts. People are virtually different from one another, after all that’s what makes us human. Now, to the topic at hand, that “life” shouldn’t be accounted for when we take into consideration of primordial instincts. Because that, like I have explained before, is an external force. Something that has changed your mind-set (i.e. societal influence, family, etc). The difference here is that all animals, including humans, originally had only primal instincts, and they are: 1) to survive (kill, steal, survive) and; 2) to reproduce (sex, rape,etc). That can be changed now in days from things such as PTSD, rape, molestation, and any other psychological trauma; in which hinders our primal instincts.
Of course, this argument works both ways, in which things like porn, violence, our situation in life, and drugs influence our primal instincts, and therefore, drive many of us to commit rape/steal/commit crimes. And I’ll say this again, all of this is “random.” It’s all fate in which leads us to one or another deed. It depends all upon our looks, our situation, our health, or sanity… the list goes on and on. In result, those are what changes our outputs and behaviors to certain things (i.e. rape,crime, etc), however, that doesn’t mean that out primal instincts were never there. Do you finally get it?
