This discussion is meaningless, the truth is that hentai/animes are cartoon. There is no need to insult someone for speaking the truth. I love animes, I also read manga’s but don’t get mad just because someone calls animes, cartoons. Because they are, now I’ll continue being dead and start watching over Sasuke.

Actually, cartoon refers to the style of the drawing, and of course, cartoons could technically be called “anime” since “anime” derives from the word “animation”, but it is incorrect to call anime a cartoon, since it doesn’t use the cartoon drawing style. I actually don’t mind much when people make this mistake, since it’s a common one, and it’s ok if people still want to call anime “cartoon”; I merely wanted to state the fact; what you do with it, is up to you.
