Jesus Christ, I’ve never seen a more useless MC. It’s one thing to have tried and failed. It’s a completely separate matter to have stood there and done jack shit as your friends died and were captured. Every single good character in this show is now dead or a slave and the only one that isn’t is the worst character—the MC. They could’ve at least killed him to make it a better ending.
