You’re expecting the original creators of the manga/doujinshis to have business acumen to where they’re going to maximize sales. They just follow trends hoping someone buys it and just throw in cheating when it adds nothing just because they think its popular, people buy it because good art and its become a feedback loop the past 3-5 years now. Most Japanese are herbivores and thus never complain to the artist that they think its shit, because thats how the culture is. I’ve seen one artist drop making ntr because a guy told them it was boring on pixiv though, lol.
