You know how people get attached to characters in fantasy? Well it’s the same here and knowing that there is no escape for them and all the rest of their lives is going to be filled with nothing but despair and being used like objects is greatly upsetting. Bad endings suck and we need to vent. Sure it’s fantasy but its not like people don’t have the same reaction when something tragic happens. I hate the ending to School Days because its a sad ending. Sure the MC was turning into a real ass but the look on his face as he was getting stabbed and slowly died sickened me. I didn’t want him dead and I didn’t want his first girlfriend going insane, coddling a fucking head that was never going to love her. Its a shit ending and shit endings are suppose to make you feel bad. Some people cry. Others get angry. And you just detach from your empathy from hentai works and and focus on the lust and beating off.
