Sucks that they chose to not follow the actual story. It’s supposed to be a battle royale where there are multiple opponents that the MC has to outsmart while under specific rules just like the other players and has to figure out their identities. He’s the son of a cop and uses his brain to outsmart the first guy here, Bear and then it moves to other more interesting guys and one ends up as an ally unintentionally (the mastermind is also implied to be linked to another character in the Blue series.) Bear even becomes more interesting in another route, where the MC manipulates Bear to kill the host of the game and there’s a happy ending route (also a route where the MC gets bloodthirsty and beats up or kills some characters, since he actually has combat training because of his dad.) One route even has a bad ending caused by the MC (basically becomes a serial killer because they wanted to make another Blue MC insane/violent.)
